Dear Church sound Engineer, we’re tired of you mixing the sound like you’re spinning at a funeral.
Please make efforts to upgrade yourself… Read wide. Sound goes far beyond turning knobs on the mixer board.
Gospel music spreads across all genres: pop, reggae, rock, classicals, jazz etc.. All these genres have their own distinctive sound. Learn!
And oh… Your volume levels, your monitors, etc…. Singers are tired of shouting just because they struggle to hear themselves.
Please try to be receptive to corrections when necessary (we know you’re the sound champion) it doesn’t take away your title.
